Enrolling with us is reasonably straightforward. As a government school we strive to accept every young person who wants to attend our school. We absolutely love the diversity that this approach brings to our student community.

  • We will be running two Information Evenings for prospective families, where we will discuss the school, our subject offerings and our policies. Our College Information Evenings will run on Tuesday 7 May at 5:00pm and Tuesday 20 August at 5:00pm. Swinburne Senior Secondary College is a unique school environment where individuality, inclusiveness and diversity is encouraged while operating within the VCE and VCE VM guidelines with respect to attendance, coursework and assessment requirements. We have a wide range of subject offerings with expert teachers and we expect the school values of Respect, Responsibility and Commitment to be incorporated and demonstrated by all students.

We understand how you feel about changing schools, and we know how important this is to you. Our primary goal throughout the enrolment application process is to make a potential transition into Swinburne as successful as possible. In order for us to facilitate this we need some information from you.

Bring Your Own Device Program (BYOD Program)

The BYOD program at Swinburne Senior Secondary College is focused on providing students with tools and resources along with high-level technical support allowing students to work to their full potential and develop essential learning habits with the support of digital tools. For a successful BYOD program to run, it is crucial that students bring their devices & power adaptors to school each day ensuring they take advantage of the digital technologies on offer at the college.

The school’s BYOD portal is now open with a select range of notebooks to choose from: NOTE: It’s not compulsory to use the portal and student’s can bring their current devices or shop elsewhere, but please make sure that you have a suitable device for your coursework which may vary depending on which subjects you have chosen.
