Congratulations Adelin, Marc, and Leo for representing Swinburne in our first inter school debate last night. The debate was held at Scotch College, on the topic “that we should use random selection to elect our members of parliament”. We came second to Saint Catherine’s by four points (out of 270!) All three students spoke with conviction and clarity, and the adjudicators were impressed by their excellent cohesiveness and signposting.
Congratulations everyone and especially to our debating captain Marc Repse.
